Pro-Marcos YouTubers may continue having incentives to crank out disinformation-laden videos as Gaw pointed out. If YouTubers ceased cranking out inflammatory videos in exchange for viewership, it could mean a decline in viewership, subscribers, and ultimately income.
Legal actions against disinformation

Fact-checking
Fact-checking systems are a method to combat disinformation that many countries, including the United States, have utilized. Since 2011, Rappler, an online news media organization based in Manila, has conducted fact checks and disinformation research on politicians and public figures who made defamatory claims.
